separate Scottish counties of Dumfriesshire, Kirkcudbrightshire and
Wigtownshire. Please Note: The proper title for Kirkcudbrightshire is The Stewartry of Kirkcudbright – ‘The Stewartry’, for short. The Stewartry of Kirkcudbright and Wigtownshire together comprise the area generally referred to as Galloway. |
